4月30日，由唐山市体育局指导，路北区文化体育和旅游局、共青团路北区委主办的2024年京津冀电子竞技大赛王者荣耀挑战赛在唐山市太阳城广场正式开幕。
本次比赛将分为线上海选和线下比赛。其中通过“N进32”的线上赛竞赛方式成功决出32支超强战队,线下于5月1日-3日在唐山市太阳城决赛。
本次比赛择取王者荣耀为竞技项目，共分为5V5和1V1两种模式，大赛力求深挖电竞人才，在逐步激烈的电竞赛事中不断提高路北区电竞水平，引导形成拼搏奋斗、公平竞技的电竞精神，在潜移默化中普及电竞文化。
